Missions

Gifts to “Missions” are utilized by our missions team to support mission projects & partners. A gift to “missions” will do high impact work in our local and global community including the efforts mentioned below.

Doing Our Part

See how Wesley Freedom puts our faith into action through our ongoing missions. Additionally, throughout the year the congregation participates in seasonal mission opportunities like packing Thanksgiving meal boxes and donating to an Angel Tree.

Mission Minded Kids

This is a group for K-5th graders who have a passion for helping others. On the second Sunday of each month, during the 11:00 Service children are invited to leave worship after the Children’s Message to engage in a hands-on mission project.

Adult Mission Trips

Be part of this incredible experience as we share the story of God’s grace to our brothers and sisters who need a little bit of our help. This week long mission trip for Adults usually occurs in the month of September.

Global Mission Partners

Serving Beyond Our Community

Bikes For The World

We collect used bicycles to be donated overseas. One day in June volunteers gather to collect used bicycles and prepare them to be shipped abroad to developing countries. Bikes for the World “enhances their lives and livelihood through better transportation”.

UMCOR

The United Methodist Committee On Relief (UMCOR) provides humanitarian relief and disaster response in the United States and internationally. Our efforts are targeted in places where natural disasters, war, or conflict have done so much damage that communities are unable to recover on their own.

Agape Gospel Mission

The Agape Gospel Mission (AGM) plants churches in West Africa, empowers local churches by providing sponsored theological training at the Agape Bible College, and rescues orphans and destitute children, providing them safe housing and education.
