Associate Pastor of Discipleship
GENERAL SUMMARY: Wesley Freedom UMC, a large, inclusive, congregation in Eldersburg, MD is seeking a part-time Associate Pastor of Discipleship. This pastor will be the chief pastoral teacher (2-3 classes weekly) and the leader of a large team of lay teachers and life group leaders. In addition to 20hrs of leadership in discipleship are, 10 hours are allocated for preaching, worship, and caregiving. Church Treasurer
GENERAL SUMMARY: At the direction of Church Council and the Senior Pastor, the Treasurer will develop and execute the budget, accounts payable for the church including payroll and benefits. The Treasurer will support Church Staff, including Early Years Learning Center staff, and ministry teams as they prepare their yearly budgets and account for ministry spending. Learning Center
From the EYLC Director
Early Years Learning Center at Wesley Freedom United Methodist Church has teacher and aide positions in our church based preschool program. The center is opened from 6:30am until 6:00pm, with a variety of program options from part-day preschool for 2’s, 3’s, and 4’s to full-day extended preschool for 3’s and 4’s. Positions are full-time, part-time, morning and afternoon hours.
