“What does the babbler want to say?”

~ Acts 16

Are you hesitant to share your faith because you don’t want to sound like a religious “babbler”? Are you cautious to talk about Jesus if you’re not sure what your conversation partner believes? Join us this week as we listen into Paul’s attempts to share Jesus with those who come from different perspectives. Pastor Jenny will be joined in the pulpit by our Lay Leaders Dave Deisterhoft and Mark DeVault as we seek real life opportunities to share Jesus in relevant ways.

  • 8:00am – Traditional Communion Service.

  • 9:30am – Traditional Service with the choir, Sunday School and Nursery.

  • 11:00am – Contemporary Service with Nursery.

Members of the congregation who are curious about the mission and strategy of our community are invited to join our Extended Council Members for our annual church conference.

We are sad to share that two beloved saints of Wesley Freedom, Don Van Cleve and Rich Hobson, passed away over the weekend. Please hold their families, friends, and loved ones in your prayers.

A service for Rich Hobson will be held on Friday, October 18th at 11am in the Wesley Freedom Sanctuary. A reception will follow in the Community Life Center. All current and former members of the choir are invited to participate in the service. If you would like to participate, contact Dan Eschliman at deschliman@welseyfreedom.org and plan to gather in the Music Room at 10am.

A service for Don Van Cleve will be held on Saturday, October 26th at 2pm in the Wesley Freedom Sanctuary. A reception will follow in the Community Life Center.

With love,
