Our History, Licensing, & Curriculum
Wesley Freedom UM Church Early Years Learning Center was developed, and began operating in 1977 as an outreach of Wesley Freedom United Methodist Church. The Center ministers to the needs of young children in a Christian atmosphere and fosters physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth of each child. The Center seeks to provide a stimulating environment in which each child is free to explore and grow.
The Center is licensed by the Maryland Department of Education under the rules and regulations of the State of Maryland
The curriculum is planned to effectively meet the developmental needs of all the children the Center serves. Opportunities will be given to foster each child’s development as a part of a group.
