About Wesley Freedom Youth Ministry

Wesley Freedom Youth Ministry exists to invite a generation to understand, own and live out a life changing faith in Jesus Christ through intentional Relationship, Discipleship, and Service.

Every school year, we will have a theme for the year that we believe helps to tie everything that we do together. This year’s theme is “Disciple” and it’s based on John 13:15 that says “For I have set you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you..” Our goal this year is to learn more about what it means to be a disciple of Christ. It’s certainly something that we will never fully figure out, but we believe that it’s a worthy calling for our students to learn how to be set apart in our world today!
Our youth ministry meets year round for both High School and Middle School Students (grades 6-12).
Important Note: Every student that participates in a Wesley Freedom Youth Event needs to have a Wesley Freedom United Methodist Church Youth Emergency Form on file. Click  on the file to download it: WESLEY FREEDOM UNITED METHODIST CHURCH YOUTH EMERGENCY FORM

High School Ministry (9-12th grade) meets regularly on Sunday nights from 7 to 8:30 pm, in addition to special events. Summer meetings are from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.

Middle School Ministry (6-8th grade) meets on Wednesdays from 7 to 8:30 pm, in addition to special events.  Summer meetings are from 7:00- 9:00 pm.

In addition to youth group and other activities, we have another part of our ministry called Confirmation. This is a time (Usually in the 8th grade, but it is not limited to) where our youth can explore the Christian faith, and decide if the Christian journey is something they would like to to pursue.  Confirmation meets regularly Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:45 am in the FYC.

Freedom Youth Center is the stone building on the corner of Liberty and Johnsville Road. Regualar youth events are hosted here.
