Pausing Indoor Ministry

Beginning Sunday, November 22nd we will be pausing indoor ministries. While we grieve not being able to gather with you in the sanctuary we feel this action is necessary to keep our community safe.

Please Know:
Ministry planned through Saturday are on as scheduled with all safety precautions in place.
Our Feed My Sheep and South Carroll food bank will continue to operate on a drive through basis to feed those experiencing hunger insecurity.
Outdoor ministries including the Advent Fest and Drive Through Nativity will be offered outside only.
Our staff and leaders have been preparing and planning for this for months. While much is being canceled, ministry is on. We have a beautiful advent season planned for you.
You are not alone, we are with you!

Worship is an Act of Thanksgiving

This Sunday we boldly rise to give thanks and praise to the God who is bringing us through. While we are heeding the call to stay home in order to contribute to the health of our community we still gather as one in worship to give thanks to God for his provision, grace, and love. As always you can access our worship at wesleyfreedom.org, YouTube, Wesley Freedom Church App and Facebook.

Pastor Ian and Pastor Jenny will host watch parties through Facebook at 8:00am and 10:00am.. If you prefer a more interactive worship experience click on the watch party video on your Facbook page at these times and chat and pray with us live.

Giving is an Act of Thanksgiving

This week is the culmination of our “Plant With Hope, Harvest With Joy” generosity celebration. Please receive our deep thanks for your faithful financial gifts which are sustaining our ministries. If you have not already done so please read the Generosity Celebration packet that was mailed to your home, or click here to read the digital version. Prayerfully consider how you are called to respond. We encourage every family to make a pledge today to give weekly or monthly in 2021. We also invite you to prayerfully consider making a one-time Thanksgiving offering to help our church community sustain ministry and make needed repairs to our ministry spaces. As we each give our generous share we will have enough to serve the Lord and his people in ways that cause Thanksgiving to overflow.

Are you ready for a new season?

ARE YOU READY FOR A NEW SEASON?
Sunday, November 29th we embrace the season of light and welcome the hope, peace, joy, and love of Christ to fill our lives. We encourage you to make a plan for how your family will center on Christ this advent and Christmas. While we will not be together in the sanctuary we have this opportunity to focus on welcoming Christ into our families and home.

Here Are Some Suggestions:
1. Plan to make an advent wreath as a family over Thanksgiving weekend. You can make one at our Advent Fest or pick up the supplies from church to make one at home (click picture below) or you can use your own creativity to design and craft a wreath yourself.
2. Gather around the advent wreath every Sunday for worship and light your candles along with our worship leaders.
3. Center each day through the advent-daily devotionals. Click here to sign up to receive the devotion via e-mail each morning. You can also view the devotions on our webpage or facebook page. If you desire a print copy please e-mail Cindy S and she will gladly mail one to you.
4. Join a ZOOM advent study.
