Community Candlelight Service of Remembrance

5:30 pm, Outdoors
November 7th, 2021

Every life is precious and worthy of remembrance. Gather for sunset with neighbors to name and remember those who have passed away in 2020-2021. With luminaries, music, a message of hope, and the passing of candlelight we will claim the significance of life and the hope we find in God and community.

Following the service, you will be invited to walk through the luminaries and enjoy light refreshments.

What To Expect

Please Bring A Folding Chair

This service will be held in our outdoor sanctuary on the North Side of our main building. Bring a folding chair to sit in during the service. Some extra chairs will be available at the Church.

Make A Luminary

When you arrive, please check in at our welcome table and share the name of any loved one you would like to honor. These names will be read during the service.

You will also have the option to create a luminary in your loved one’s honor.

Parking

Please park in the 3-tiered parking lot. This entrance is next to the black marquee sign on Johnsville Road. The north driveway will be coned off for the safety of those in the outdoor worship space.

All Saints Sunday
Indoor Sanctuary Services
8:00am; 9:30am; 11:00am

In 2020-2021 our families and communities experienced the loss of loved ones often without opportunities to comfort each other. This All Saints Sunday we claim space for you and your family and friends to remember those who have passed and claim our shared hope for resurrection.

REading of Names

Each year, we name those saints who have passed away as we commend them to God. Submit a name to be read through our Remembrance Form

Memorial Table

This year, tables will be set up on the steps of the chancel with photos of our departed saints. We invite you to bring a self-standing framed picture (no larger than 11×14) of your loved one to the church office between now and October 31st. Feel free to bring it on a Sunday or during the week.
